About this development
Construction of the Vredenburg Wind Energy Facility (previously know as the IPD Vredenburg Wind Energy Facility) on several farms near Vredenburg in the Saldanha Bay Municipal Area in the Western Cape. The proposed project will have a maximum production capacity of 140 mega watts. The WEF will be located on on the following land parcels: Boebezaks Kraal Portion2 of Farm 40, Boebezaks Kraal Portion 5 of Farm 40, Schuitjes Klip Portion 3 of Farm 22, Uitkomst Portion 6 of the Remainder of Farm 23, Oorenkoms Portion 3 of Farm 40.
