Visserspan Solar PV Facility Project 4

Construction of the 100MW Visserspan Solar Photoviltaic Facility Project 4 covering an area of around 238ha, circumscribed with a perimeter fire access road and fence on Farm Visserpan No. 40, approximately 10km northwest of Dealesville and 68km northwest of Bloemfontein, Free State. The PV tables will be raised approximately 500mm above ground level and will have a single-axis tracking system allowing the generation of not more than 100MW of alternating current. Proposed associated infrastructure includes a fenced construction staging area, maintenance shed, inverter transformer, stations on concrete pads and office buildings all within the 238ha proposed development site footprint, as well as switch panel and an overhead powerline from the PV array for connection to the power grid.
