Construction of a flyover intended to connect the bypass road in Verdun to that of St-Pierre in Mauritius. This road project includes a bridge, which will improve traffic flow on the M3 Terre Rouge-Verdun motorway, from the Verdun Bypass to that of St-Pierre (A 17). In addition, a connecting road will be built to connect the bridge and the St-Pierre Bypass over a distance of 500m. The flyover will facilitate traffic coming from the M3 motorway towards St-Pierre and Ébène towards the Verdun bypass road. Phase 1 will start from Moka – Camp De Masque Road – A7 after Alma village and will provide an alternative route up to Terre Rouge – Verdun - Trianon Link Road, M3 without the need to drive through the village of Verdun. Phase 2 will consist of a new link will be constructed through an interchange across M3 to link St Pierre Bypass and A7 Road. The Verdun Bypass will be connected to M3 through access ramps and is likely to bring a traffic shift of around 60% from M3/A7. Project Value: MUR 280 637 071.00 (Excl VAT).
