About this development
Upgrading of the existing vehicle and driver testing facility at the Okahandja Registering Authority in Okahandja, in the Otjozondjupa Region, Namibia. The scope of works will include: Demolition of the existing vehicle inspection pit; alterations and renovations to the existing administration building; construction of a new cash hall, information building and waiting area; construction of a new vehicle inspection pit, including an adjacent office and store room; construction of a new incline ramp; construction of new sewer reticulation, water supply system, fire water supply system, stormwater drainage structures and all the required municipal connections; construction go site works, including bulk earthworks, layerworks for testing areas, reinforced concrete surfacing, interlocked parking and driving area, interlocked islands, kerbing, channeling road signage, palisade fencing with motorised entrance and exit gates and razor mesh fencing; canopies for queuing lanes, staff parking area and light vehicle driver's testing area, including benches.
