Construction of a dam on the Lunsemfwa river in order to store and supply water for irrigation of sugar cane, cereal and other crops downstream of the dam in the Mkushi Farming Block. The proposed dam is 31.5m high and is earth fill with a reservoir volume of 202 million m3. Project value: US$300 million.
