About this development

Upgrading the road between Nchelenge and Chienge (commonly known as Kashikishi/Lunchinda road) D76/D77 (95 km) with 10 km urban roads in Nchelenge in Luapula province. The scope of work will include among other things; upgrading of gravel road to bituminous road, with variable shoulder widths and extensive cuts and fille in hilly terrain. This contract also includes a 120 m long pre-stressed bridge over Kalungwishi River as well as 10 km of urban road upgrading. Estimated cost: K474.5 million. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -9.318313754164503, long: 28.737509752963902.
