The upgrade will make provision for two traffic lanes in both directions, as well as non motorized transport lanes. Phase 1 (Section of York Street between PW Botha Boulevard and the N2, including the bridge across). Phase 2 is the section of road between Hope Street circle and the PW Botha Boulevard.
