About this development
Upgrading of the Road K29 from Cosmo City, Gauteng, up to the North West Border. The intention of the upgrade is to increase the capacity of the section of Provincial Road R103-2 between the Provincial Freeway P158-2 (N14) and Road K31 (Lanseria Airport). The scope of works includes: 5.7km of new dual carriageway (K29); an additional bridge 3304B over the N14 and access ramps between N14 and K29; construction of five intersections for access roads along the K29; construction of two surfaced roads (0.68km) and nine gravel access roads (3.58km); construction of eight taxi lay-byes along the route and the concrete pavement for pedestrians and cyclists. Total value of Project: R426 million.
