Construction of upgrading the Rooikoppen sewer, located in Rooikoppen (Sakhile ext 04) within Lekwa Local Municipality under Gert Sibande District Municipality, Mpumalanga. Approximate value: R124 802 600.83. Scope of work for Phase 01: Installation and replacing 160mm diameter pipelines to the length of 8.5km, providing downstream pipelines from 250mm to 315mm diameter at the total of 1.8km, re-construction of damaged erven connections and flush toilets to a total number of 750 households, associated works (excavation, bedding, backfilling, etc). The scope of work for Phase 04: installation and replacing 160mm diameter pipelines to the length of 4.3km, providing downstream pipelines from 250mm to 315mm diameter at the total of 1.1km, re-construction of damaged erven connections and flush toilets to a total number of 380 households, associated works (excavation, bedding, back filling, etc). The works at the Booster Pump Station 02: replacing all damaged fixtures and equipment in the guardhouse, repainting the walls and replacing damaged tiles, repairing the ceiling and cornices, plumbing works, delivery and installation of booster pumps and fittings, re installation of damaged fence and provide access gate, electrical works for the pump house, guardhouse and outdoors, reconstruction of oxidation pond and installation of reverse pump system, reconstruction onsite sewer pipelines, delivery and installation of generator and fuel tank, and construction of gravel access road.
