About this development
This project is for the upgrading of MR118 from Rosh Pinah to Oranjemund in Namibia with an estimated length of 94 km. The new road will be aligned on the existing gravel road with some small alterations to accommodate horizontal engineering alignment requirements ensuing a safe road. The road starts approximately 3 kilometres south of Rosh Pinah, along main road 118 and progresses 8 kilometres south along district road 212 until the turn-off to Sendelingsdrift and continues along the existing gravel road over a stretch 85 km to Oranjemund. Contract Value : R 558 617 219.00. Contract period : 30 months.
