Upgrade of the R102 road between Duffs Road Interchange and North Verulam/Canelands, Durban. Proposed upgrade of approximately 20km of the R102 (also known as the MR2) between the Duffs Road Interchange, Kwa-Mashu and North Verulam/Canelands, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The project entails upgrading the road to four lanes for the entire length (so that there will be two lanes in each direction), including the widening of two bridges. Most of the construction activities are to take place within the existing road reserve however a short section of the road will be relocated off the existing alignment outside of the road reserve.
