About this development
Upgrade of Langkloof Package Plant near Bergville, Kwazulu-Natal. CIDB 8CE. The scope of works could include the upgrade of existing scheme components comprising 1No. pump-station, 1No. submerged pump, pumping main to the 200KI storage reservoir and the existing reticulation network pipelines which terminates to the communal standpipes, construction of approximately 350m long 100mm diameter steel pipeline supported by concrete pillars or plints, safely removal of the existing 0.4MI/day package plant, supply and erect a new 1.5MI/day package plant, connect the newly proposed rising / pumping main to the newly proposed one (1.0) Mega Litre reinforced concrete reservoir and construction of newly proposed suitably sized gravity main with the reticulation pipe network that provides yard connections, supply and install water meter and provision of the yard standpipes to all households within the project foot print, supply and install telemetry / SCADA systems, supply and erect fencing for the package plant and reservoir sites. The GPS co-ordinates of the Langkloof water works is 28°38'01.7"S 29°05'13.6"E
