About this development
The City of Tshwane proposes to extend West Avenue, and upgrade John Vorster Drive and the Jean Avenue Interchange. The Jean Avenue Interchange will be upgraded to provide improved access to the N14 and West Avenue will be constructed over the freeway to provide an additional link between the land use development on the west and east of the N14. John Vorster Drive will be upgraded, intersecting with proposed extension of West Avenue and Jean Avenue. This will help alleviate the traffic congestion currently being experienced within the area. The upgrades will lead to economic and social benefits, particularly the contribution of the interchange upgrade and West Avenue link to the development potential of the adjacent land.
