About this development
Upgrade at the Engen Refinery, Wentworth, Durban South, KwaZulu-Natal. The project involves the proposed upgrade of two existing nitrogen storage vessels. The existing vessels are 10m³ and 25m³ respectively. It is proposed that these vessels be replaced with two 45m³ storage vessels. The total combined nitrogen storage on site is proposed to be 90m³. The refinery's consumption of nitrogen will remain the same.
