About this development
The University of the Witwatersrand's Property and Infrastructure Management Division plans to expand and upgrade the 4th Quadrant to the Chamber of Mines Building, enclose its atrium and to weather proof the whole building in terms of an NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract. The works associated with the 4th Quadrant is in the region of R60 million, the works may be extended to R200 million for construction, extension or upgrading of this or other buildings on the University's Campus.
