About this development
Construction of infrastructure and services for the proposed Universitas mixed-use development. Afrikuumba is planning to develop a mixed-use development on a fifty-hectare piece of land. The development is to be known as Universitas. The township is situated opposite the UNAM grounds, approximately 100m west from the western bypass road. The mixed use development is to consist of the following - residential, business and institutional zones. Based on the average densities per erf in the layout, the area is aimed at accommodating middle to higher income groups as well as service provision businesses and institutions. There are 187 residential erven, 3 business erven and 2 institutional erven.
