Construction of the Umzimvubu Ward 22 Water Supply: Contract 2 in Umzimvubu Ward 22, Mount Ayliff, Eastern Cape Province. The scope of work includes the following: Construction of rising and gravity mains to an approximate length of 9km; construction of water reticulation network to an approximately length of 15.5km; construction of No 45 stand pipes; all pipes for rising main, gravity main and reticulation network will be HDPE-SABS 533 for diameters less than or equal to 63mm uPVC-SABS 966 for diameters greater than or equal to 75mm; construction of three 50kL pre-cast concrete reservoirs, construction of 20kL elevated tank, and utilisation of the existing 10kL concrete reservoir; equipping of one borehole and construction of one spring protection box and construction of two pump stations.
