About this development
Construction of the Umlando Solar 2 Photovoltaic Solar Energy Facility located on the Remaining Extent and Portion 1 of Farm Ruigtekuilen 129 and Portion 10 of Farm Winkelhaak 135, situated within the Govan Mbeki Local Municipality near Secunda, Mpumalanga. The solar PV facility will comprise of PV panel array, wiring to inverters, connection to the grid, supporting infrastructure including an on-site substation, laydown areas and operations and maintenance buildings etc, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), roads and fencing. The GPS has been estimated at Farm Ruigtekuilen 26°25'51.2"S 29°03'31.3"E
