About this development
The proposed project consists of construction of a high voltage transmission line from Nkenda substation in Kasese Western Region of Uganda up to Bunia via Veni in the Northern East Region of the Democratic Republic of Congo. The proposed transmission line crosses the territorial boundaries at Mpondwe (Uganda)/Kasindi (DRC) border town. The estimated distance of the line is 350km.
