Construction of a new TVET College Media Centre situated at Sam Ngema Road Kwa-Thema, Springs, Gauteng. CIDB 7GB. The scope of works includes construction of a new media centre, approximately 4 017m² in area. The building design consists of a double storey building, with raft foundations and a structural concrete super structure with metal roof and side cladding. The external facades are plaster and paint with large aluminium windows. The entire media centre will be mechanically ventilated with the relevant electrical, mechanical and fire protection services. The media centre will incorporate a double volume 300 seater acoustic rated auditorium. Other areas and functions with the media centre include e learning areas, open discussion areas, a media and computer centre, conference rooms.
