About this development
Construction of an 8 000m² state-of-the-art convention centre in Centurion, Gauteng. This multi-purpose convention centre will consist of two hotels with a total of 500 rooms, a 5-star hotel with VIP and commercial suites supporting the conference and exhibition centre that can seat 2 000 people, linked directly to the centre, and the other a 4-star hotel, shops, a theatre and exhibition centre. The penthouses, aimed at corporate tenants, and the retail and office park on the 14-hectare prime site will be linked to the Centurion Gautrain station. The centre, built in the shape of Africa is to be constructed near Super Sport Park in Centurion is aptly named the Africa Gateway Precinct. Estimated project cost: R 4.9 billion.
