Trunk Road 1 at km 19.36 starts approximately 24km from George, after the Outeniqua Pass and extends north to the TR75/1 Oudtshoorn/Uniondale intersection, along the eastern side of the Klipriver. Minor Road 6878 intersects with TR1/1 at km 21,900 and extends south-south-west, from km 0,00 to km 1,98 towards Waboomskraal, along the western side of the Klipriver.
