About this development
Construction of a new approximately 5km T-off Chikadee overhead distribution line from one of the existing Trident - Ararat 88kV lines to Phokeng Substation. Phokeng substation site is situated in the south eastern portion of the farm Kookfontein, at the south east of the Royal Bafokeng stadium. The proposed new 88kV powerlines (approximately 5km in length) will connect the existing Phokeng substation to either of the three existing Trident - Ararat 88kV powerlines. The proposed powerline will traverse certain portions of the farm Kookfontein 265 in the village known as Lemenong, at Phokeng, North West.
