About this development
This project involves for the establishments of truck stops along the Trans Kalahari Corridor (TKC), Walvis Bay - Ndola-Lubumbashi Corridor (Trans Caprivi) and Trans Kunene Corridor respectively. The Trans-Kalahari and Trans-Caprivi corridors connect Namibia with South Africa’s industrial and economic hub, Gauteng. The total investment for the development of the truck stops is estimated at around R55-million. This excludes the cost of the land, which is expected to be priced at municipal value.
