Tourist Access Facility and associated Infrastructure in the Mapungubwe National Park.

The Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park (GLTP) Joint Management Board (JMB) proposes to establish a tourist access facility with associated infrastructure to improve tourist mobility and easy access into the Gonarezhou National Park and the Kruger National Park. The major components of the proposed project entail the following: a bridge over the Limpopo River between South Africa and Zimbabwe. Border post facilities inclusive of offices, accommodation and associated services and access roads to and from the border crossing. The Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park includes the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique, the Kruger National Park in South Africa and the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe.
