About this development
The Tormin project is a beach deposit located on the west coast of South Africa, approximately 400km north of Cape Town. The tenement area covers 120 hectares of mineralized beach which has accumulated along the approximate 12 km long x 100m wide beach zone. The deposit is strategically situated north of the mouth of the Olifants River, approximately 50km south of Anglo American Group’s Namakwa Sands large scale heavy mineral sands mining operation located at Brand se Baai. The Project is also in close proximity to Anglo’s mineral separation plant at Koekenaap from where the project’s planned output of mineral concentrate can be transported by existing inland rail some 200kms to the export port at Saldanha Bay.
