About this development
Construction of the Chris Hani District Municipality Cluster 8 water supply backlog Tora River weir, pipeline and waste water treatment phase 1 within the Engcobo Local Municipality of the Eastern Cape. The scope of work includes the following: Construction of an approximately 2m high concrete weir on the Tora River at approximately (31° 54' 12.84"S 28°08'06.65"E), construction of a new steel building to house a 1.5ML/day package WTW, installation of the package WTW, construction of offices and operator accommodation, construction of 0.7km 200mm dia class 9 uPVC pipe, 7.2km 110mm dia class 16uPVC pipe, 0.8km 200mm dia class 9 uPVC pipeline, construction of 2 pump houses and construction of a 1.5Ml galvanized steel reservoir.
