About this development
Tongaat Hulett Sugar proposes to install an additional turbo-alternator which will produce between 30 and 40MW of electricity. In addition a new 11kV underground powerline will be installed in order to deliver the electricity generated to the Ngoye substation which is located within 100m of the plant, KwaZulu-Natal.
