About this development

The Athi Water Services Board wishes to construct the Thetha Dam Water Treatment Works: The works will involve the following:- (i) 4000m3 / day Treatment works at Thetha consisting of 4 flocculation tanks, 4 units of sedimentation basins, 4 rapid sand filter units, chemical building, chlorination building and 1000m3 / day composite treatment unit; (ii) Utility building 48m3, steel elevated pressed steel backwash tank, backwash pump house and installation backwash pumping units and 150 cubic meters masonry clear water tank; (iii) Ancillary works at the treatment works consisting of power main supply, staff house building, access roads, street lighting, site drainage and site water supply; (iv) Approximately 30km of DN 150 - 350mm uPVC, treated water transmission pipeline and (v) Miscellaneous works including fencing of treatment site.
