The Toll House Karoo Estate - Infrastructure

Construction of services and infrastructure for the establishment of a residential estate on the Erven 2717 and 2752, Hopetown. The estate will comprise of a maximum 40 units, each between 0.25 and 0.4 hectares in size (alternative one) or a maximum of 80 units each between 750 and 1250 m² in area (alternative two). The units will be linked via a gravel road network. The property is situated on the western bank of the Orange River and is in close proximity to the original road bridge (old wagon bridge) that crosses the river. Services will include electricity via the Eskom grid with cables laid underground, potable water provision from the Orange River through a small established treatment plant and storm water management. The property is situated in the Northern Cape. The infrastructure and services will include an access road to the development, link roads within the development, gate control, a perimeter security fence and a riverside raw water pump facility.
