About this development
Construction of the Northern Corridor Pipeline (NCP). The NCP is a petroleum products pipeline which will serve Uganda and the markets of the western Lake Victoria region. The Ugandan portion of the pipeline will connect with an existing Kenya Pipeline Company Terminus at Eldoret, Kenya and run across the Uganda/Kenya border to Kampala and westward to a terminal determined to best serve the targeted markets. The pipeline will pass from Eldoret, Kenya, through Kampala, to Mbarara, Uganda, over a distance of approximately 320km of which 118km will be installed in Kenya and 202km within Uganda. Depots, terminals and tank farms will be installed along the line. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is -4.049463, -4.049463 Estimated project value: $4.7 billion
