Construction of the solar field, as part of The Giant Flag project at the Valley of Desolation at Graaff-Reinet, in the Eastern Cape Province. A 6.6-hectare solar field, producing four (4) megawatts, enough to power 4,000 households, will make up the black triangle. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is Graaff-Reinet Latitude -32.2547052 Longitude 24.5480227.
