About this development
Upgrading of the Thabazimbi pump station within the Thabazimbi Local Municipality in Limpopo. CIDB 7CE. The scope of works under this contract includes the following activities but not limited to: Replacement of the existing pumps and motors with new energy efficient systems, installation of new inlet and outflow meters, replacement of corroded pipe work and fittings, construction of new sump with a capacity of 2.05ML to address storage limitation, structural repairs including painting, roof replacement and storm water management, refurbishment of electrical works and upgrade of control centres, construction of guard house and installation of security features. The Thabazimbi pump station is situated southwest of Thabazimbi town, in close proximity to the R510 and R511 (Brits) road intersection, The GPS coordinates have been placed at the pump station 24°39'22.8"S 27°22'49.7"E
