About this development
The proposed Temo Coal project will be located in the Waterberg area within the Lephalale Municipality in Limpopo Province. The proposed project sites are located off the D175 district road which from from Steenbokpan to Stockpoort and 45 kilometres west, north-west of Lephalale. The proposed operation will be an opencast mine covering an area of approximately 3200 hectares with a total coal resource of approximately 1.5 billion tonnes in situ. The coal will be mined via the conventional open pit bench mining method.
