The redevelopment of the Table Bay Hotel, located at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town, Western Cape. The contract value is R480 million. The redeveloped hotel will be rebranded as the InterContinental Table Bay Cape Town. The scope of works includes: An additional 45 guest suites, increasing the room count to 306. A new elevated pool bar and terrace. A world-class spa. A state-of-the-art executive club floor and lounge for InterContinental guests. Revamped dining spaces and reception areas. The complete renovation of all guest rooms. Upgraded furnishings, smart in-room technology, and improved energy efficiency. Ground floor & public areas: the ground floor, including the lobby, lounges, and both restaurants is being transformed to enhance spatial flow and guest interaction. The restaurants will relaunch with new concepts, menus, and interiors. Back of house & basement facilities are being upgraded. Enhanced staff areas, modernised logistics, and improved infrastructure. All plant and service rooms are being brought up to modern engineering and sustainability standards. New HVAC systems, energy-efficient boilers, water-saving technologies, and smart building management systems. The GPS co-ordinates are 33°54'09.8"S 18°25'20.5"E.
