Expansion of the Sumitomo Rubber tyre manufacturing plant, located at Bloukrans Road in Ladysmith, Kwazulu-Natal. The scope of works for Phase 1 will include civil works and building of the Sunrise Warehouse for Sumitomo Rubber South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Dunlop Tyre Services) - a single level warehouse with a mezzanine level. Phase 1 is estimated at R160 million (Incl. VAT). Phase 2 will introduce truck and bus tyres to the manufacturing line. Estimated project value of Phase 2: R910 million.
