Botswana Diamonds has completed a three-hole drilling programme at its joint venture (JV) PL 210 licence area, in the Orapa region of Botswana. A new prospecting licence, PL260/2015 has been granted. The 25 km2 PL260/2015 covered ground which was the highest priority as it contained three previously discovered kimberlite bodies – AK21, AK22 and AK23. With the JV exploration team currently active in the area, work had started immediately on reviewing the block with a view to defining new anomalies and drill targets. The existing kimberlites were being reviewed to verify if they warrant further evaluation. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -21.3119942; long: 25.4022706.
