The area where the proposed extension is to be undertaken constitutes a portion of the De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate and adjoining property, both of which are situated within the Stellenbosch Municipality, in the Western Cape. The project site is situated along the western boundary of the Stellenbosch airfield.
