South West Gauteng TVET College Classrooms

Construction of 10 classrooms at 6 TVET campuses spread as follows: 3 Campuses in Soweto, 2 campuses in Roodepoort and 1 campus in Randburg. It is envisaged that the 60 classrooms should be able to accommodate at least 40 students each, be modern, energy efficient and environmentally friendly. At least 6 of the classrooms per campus must be designed in such a way that it has a workshop room. At least 1 of the classrooms per campus should be designed as a computer laboratory that will be able to accommodate a minimum of 41 computers and a multi-function printer. The other 3 classrooms per campus will be normal theoretical classrooms. All 60 classrooms should be easily accessible to persons with disabilities. It is estimated that the value of all the projects mentioned above will be in the region of R40 million.
