The South Gap gold project is located along a 2km portion of the Ashanti Gold Belt, at the extreme southern end of the 9km strike of the historical Prestea underground workings in Ghana. South Gap is between the Bondaye and Tuapim shafts. Seven holes were drilled in the area and initial tests indicate gold recoveries of more than 85%. This confirms the material is non-refractory. A further 2 500m of drilling to test the extents of the mineralisation is planned.
