Project overview

About this development

Construction the wastewater treatment plant for the new Soufflet Malt Malting Facility located on Erf 244 Graceview Extension 3, adjacent to Klipriver Business Park, 1 de Man Road, Midvaal, Sedibeng, Johannesburg, Gauteng. This infrastructure includes an effluent balancing tank and all its associated auxiliary equipment, such as pumping systems. This will be issued as an amendment to the Zone A package once the tank design has been finalised. This tank will serve as a buffer between the effluent discharged from the various process functional spaces and the Client's wastewater treatment plant service provider. It will allow for controlled discharge of effluent from the site and provide sufficient storage during periods when the service provider experiences downtime. The tank is sized to store a volume of 2000m³ and will be a below-ground concrete structure. It will be gravity-fed by means of a channel collecting from the respective process areas. The entire development value is R2 billion. The GPS coordinates are -26.4313977, 28.0703832
