Construction of the heating/energy building and kilns for the new Soufflet Malt Malting Facility located on Erf 244 Graceview Extension 3, adjacent to Klipriver Business Park, 1 de Man Road, Midvaal, Sedibeng, Johannesburg, Gauteng. The scope of works: Earthworks, foundations, superstructure construction. The building structure shall consist of concrete columns, beams, and walls with masonry infill panels. Concrete walls shall be employed as per Engineer's design in areas subject to pressure. Condensate from wet areas (below glass tubes) shall be recovered via a draining system and fed to the steeping building tank. Provision and installation of HVAC and Fire Protection systems. Energy Building Overview: Coverage: Approximately 2874m². Height: Approximately 18m. Foundation type Raft. Floor Finishes: Power-floated concrete floor; non-slip PU floor in wet areas, with specification aligned to heat requirements; Insulated concrete roof. Wall finish: concrete structure with selected masonry infill panels; selected walls insulated with rock wool or approved equivalent to meet heat requirements; masonry walls: face brick externally, cement bagged internally.
