About this development
Construction of a photovoltaic (PV) solar energy facility, Sirius Two. The facility will be situated approximately 20km southwest of Upington, in the Northern Cape. The facility will have the capacity to supply 75 mw and will include the following infrastructure: a series of PV panels; a new substation; mounting structure to support the PV panels; underground cabling; internal roads and fencing; a workshop for maintenance and offices.
