About this development
Construction of ShambuBako Road upgrading project in Ethiopia, approximately 60.2km in length. The project consists of upgrading of the existing gravel road to asphalt concrete surfacing to ERA DS 4 standard. The project also includes construction of ten new bridges and 127 culverts (pipe, slab and box) The road will be constructed to 7 meters carriageway and 1.5 meters shoulders on each side in rural open areas and in the town section the roadway is provided with additional 3.5 meters packing lane and 2.5 meters pedestrian walkway on each side.
