The Sendelingsdrif Mine will be situated in the Sperrgebiet National Park, near Rosh Pinah in Karas region, Namibia. Namdeb’s Mining Licence 42 extends along the Orange River for about 50 kilometres inland from the Mining Area 1 (MA1) licence eastern boundary to Sendelingsdrif near the town of Rosh Pinah. This licence area is referred to as Orange River Mines and contains some of the highest value diamonds in the world. Estimated project value: $300 million.
