The Sechabe Energy Power will be a coal-fired 300MW power plant, comprising two 150MW circulating fluidised bed coal-fired power plants. The power plant was also expected to feature a sub-critical non-reheat steam turbine with dry, air-cooled condenser technology. The power plant is to be established at its flagship Sechaba coal project in Botswana. The project is located 30 km north west of Palapye in the vicinity of the Morupule power station complex. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat: -22.5198552; long: 27.0369991.
