Project overview
About this development
Construction of residential units as part of a mixed-use development in the south-western quadrant of the Philippi Horticultural Area (PHA), Schaapkraal, in the Western Cape. The proposed development aims to create an integrated live, work, play environment. The main features of the proposal include a mixed-use corridor along the Strandfontein Road corridor which would link up with an institutional core to service the local area. A commercial node is envisaged in the south western corner of the site consisting of approximately 30 000m² Gross Lettable Area (GLA). A 50m strip of high density development is proposed along the southern boundary, ensuring integration between the proposed development and Strandfontein Village. The remaining area is earmarked for residential purposes. A mix of general residential, single residential, institutional and public open space is proposed.
