The Sasolburg green hydrogen project located in the Free State, will require 60MW of renewable energy. An operational electrolyser at Sasolburg will also be refurbished to produce green hydrogen. The 60MW contract, by contrast, will be treated as an embedded generation plant and will be located at Sasolburg. The exact co-ordinates are currently not available however the approximate area of location is lat:-26.823852283032846, long: 27.849976700103554.
