About this development
Development of the Sanbona Game Reserve, located between the towns of Montagu and Barrydale, Western Cape Province. The proposed private nature reserve will consist of 23 individual farms, totaling 54 000ha. The site is located north of Barrydale, partly in the Touws River valley and partly on the Warmwaterberg and the high Tradouw plateau (Op de Tradouw). The development entails the construction of 5 new lodge sites for tourist accommodation, 9 additional rooms and a new boma at the existing Tilney Lodge. Also 11 additional rooms, a tennis court and a new boma at the existing Khanni Lodge.
