About this development
Construction of the San Kraal 390 MW wind energy facility (WEF) and its associated infrastructure located approximately six kilometres south east of the town of Noupoort in the Umsobomvu Local Municipality (ULM) which forms part of the Pixley ka Seme District in the Northern Cape Province. The proposed San Kraal WEF will comprise of up to 78 wind turbine generators (WTG), each with a hub height of up to 150m, blade length of up to 75m and a rotor diameter of up to 150m. An on-site switching station will be constructed as part of the San Kraal WEF.
